A workstation consists of many components. To make a sensible decision (or at least to understand why I suggest particular system to you) you need to understand some of the issues. I’ve tried to make this section as simple as possible – you will see a list of the varrious types of components on the right.
Please note: all the discussion on these pages assumes that we are discussing a high-end graphics or CAD workstation. The comments and recommendations do not apply to the secretary’s machine, or your internet-browsing machine.
