Screen Monitors

Choose a single large monitor or 2 monitors side by side

The monitor is perhaps one of the easiest devices to purchase.

First, you decide whether you want to stick with a single large monitor or two monitors.

A single monitor has a limited screen area – you want to choose the biggest that you can afford – 1920px x 1080px with a screen width of 27″ – is the way to go. Prices for these large displays have dropped tremendously over the past couple of years.

A Dual monitor system is a better solution because there is effectively a much larger screen area to work with while menus and control panels can usually be moved to the secondary monitor. You get more value for money using two slightly smaller screens instead of one big one, but dual monitors take some getting used to. Personally, I cannot live without the convenience of a dual-monitor setup.

1920px x 1080px monitors can range between R2000 and R3000 each.
